Jamming with Figs: The Coming of the Fig Jam Society

Hello, fellow fig lovers! As we all know, the upcoming months mark the beginning of fig season. And what better way to celebrate this delicious fruit than by starting a new trend – the Fig Jam Society! So get ready! I will be unveiling a new Fig Society t-shirt transfer that you can purchase and join in on the society with. Showing off your love of fig jam and well everything FIG…let’s get FIGGY!

Inspired by the famous Red Hat Society, where women gather to share tea and stories while wearing their signature red hats, I wanted to create something similar but with a twist. Instead of just sipping tea, we’ll be enjoying some sweet fig jam on our favorite baked goods – scones, bagels, muffins, you name it! NY Bagels come in different flavors/ varieties maybe we can get your local bagel store/ shop to come up with a Figgy Bagel?!?!? With Fig cream cheese!

But that’s not all, to truly embrace this new movement, we’ll also be incorporating a unique element – a signature item to wear or use during our gatherings. It could be a hat, scarf, socks, or anything else that represents our love for figs. a special accessory associated with figs. It could be a hat, scarf, socks or anything else you can think of that would add some flair to our gatherings and show off our love for figs. Any suggestions? I propose instead of a red hat which is already spoken for, a hat of your choosing with a scarf around it! Something that symbolizes heading out and picking our figs from the fig tree outside and covering ourselves from the hot summer sun!

Imagine how fun it would be to see a group of people wearing their fig-inspired items while indulging in some delicious fig jam treats and engaging in interesting conversations! Plus, as a bonus, I’ll also be sharing tips on how to make these gatherings pet-friendly so our furry friends can join in on the fun too.

With the Fig Jam Society, I hope to create a community where like-minded individuals can come together to share their love for figs and have meaningful conversations over some tasty treats.
